Gothic Love 2023

The haunting love and mythic passion found on wind-swept moors in “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Brontë is where we found the inspiration for our “Gothic Love” Valentine’s Day Collection.

Love comes in many shades, and for this collection, we’ve chosen darker hearts, muted roses, and expressions of love and desire with quotes pulled from Victorian and Gothic fiction. Romance lives on in the chapters of the timeless novels by the Brontë sisters, and dark romanticism finds its way into the pages of Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker, and Edgar Allen Poe. We’ve included some of the lighter words of Jane Austen to balance the dark.

  • Our 18-piece assortment of chocolates is packaged in an elegant black “old-school” style heart-shaped box. Inside you’ll find nine luscious flavor combinations using bright fruits, toasty nuts, fragrant, buttery caramels and silky ganaches. A muted color palette allows the natural and beautiful shades of the couverture chocolate to shine through. The box is finished with a bow and includes a customizable printed note card with envelope. Select the quote that best speaks to you. There is space on the back of the card for you to add your own message of love.

    Velvety milk chocolate hazelnut gianduja, toasted hazelnuts, under a passionfruit ganache.

    Bittersweet Roses

    Soft, creamy, and velvety black chocolate caramel with a hint of rose water, dark chocolate shell.

    Jane’s Victorian Seed Cake

    Creamy vanilla ganache infused with caraway, orange, caramelized white chocolate with Feuilletine flakes.

    The Moors

    “London Fog” cake flavors of Earl Grey infused chocolate ganache, and citrusy, fragrant bergamot ganache.

    Melted Heart

    Dark chocolate minty melt-a-way with handmade chocolate cookie crumble and caramelized cacao nibs.

    Heathcliff’s Crushed Heart

    English toffee, crushed toasted almonds, dark chocolate crisp pearls folded into almond and milk chocolate gianduja, sea salt.

    Bittersweet Violet Heart

    Creamy vanilla honey caramel mildly scented with violet essence, bittersweet chocolate shell.
